There are a lot of heavy scented soaps out there, but they aren’t for everyone. If you have trouble walking into stores and being overwhelmed by scents just to leave with a headache, then my bars are made for you!
Our Small Business
Hi! My name is Annie Franke. And I make Gingerly Scented Soap.
I made my first soap bar because I wanted an oatmeal bar for my son’s sensitive skin, but I wanted to control the scent because scents can be so overwhelming when they linger on the skin. I can easily get headaches from heavy scents, but I was tired of all the unscented plain bars.
I needed soft scents that I could enjoy in the bath, but wouldn’t stick around, so I went to my cabinet where I had some essential oils and after some trial and error I found the perfect combo for a lightly scented bar that was not only soft on the skin, but improved our irritated skin, and left us hydrated without being oily.
I started making and selling some for friends and family, to offset the rising costs of everything. They all loved them and kept asking for more, so I decided that I was going to share them with Everyone!
Our Team
Our team is small but mighty!
I make the soaps and my husband Atticus helps with shipping. My son Kohl is super helpful with testing new soap scents in the tub, and his favorite is Citrus Blossom! Atticus’s favorite scent is Blue Boss, and my favorite is Spearmint!
